DAB
DAB S4-4 Submersible Borehole Pump (Wet End)
The DAB S4-4 is a 4" (100 mm) multistage submersible borehole pump end from DAB — the highest-flow model in the S4 range carried here, suited to larger household, agricultural and small-commercial water demands.
This is the wet end (pump end) only — it couples to a matching 4" submersible motor (sold separately) to form a complete borehole pump set.
How to choose your model
Every S4-4 delivers up to about 5 400 litres per hour (5.4 m³/h). More stages means more head, so pick the model that matches how deep your water sits:
| Model | Stages | Motor | Max head |
|---|---|---|---|
| S4-4/4 | 4 | 0.37 kW | 28 m |
| S4-4/7 | 7 | 0.55 kW | 48 m |
| S4-4/9 | 9 | 0.75 kW | 62 m |
| S4-4/14 | 14 | 1.1 kW | 96 m |
| S4-4/19 | 19 | 1.5 kW | 131 m |
| S4-4/27 | 27 | 2.2 kW | 186 m |
| S4-4/35 | 35 | 3.0 kW | 241 m |
| S4-4/48 | 48 | 4.0 kW | 331 m |
All S4-4 models share a 32 mm (1¼") stainless-steel discharge and abrasion-resistant floating impellers. Head figures are shut-off (zero-flow) maximums; actual delivery drops as flow rises, so ask us for the full performance curve if you're sizing to a specific duty point.

Frequently Asked Questions
How deep can this pump be installed?
Check the Max Head figure for the model you choose. That is the maximum height the pump can lift water, including the depth it sits at plus the rise to your tank.
Do I need a control box?
Most borehole pumps need a matching control box or starter. Ask our team if you are unsure which one suits your pump.
What is the delivery time?
Stocked items ship same or next business day. Larger pumps are often special order, so get in touch for a lead time.
